Purest Sea Essence tablets contain only spirulina, a microalga, which means a very small aquatic organism. CaliVita® presents them to people looking after everyday energy, immunity, and a healthy body weight as part of a suitable diet and healthy lifestyle. Unlike Spirulina Chlorella Plus, there is no blend of other algae or green plants here. Four tablets provide two grams of powdered spirulina. According to the manufacturer, the tablets do not even have a coating. In practical terms, the declared tablet ingredient is spirulina alone, without an added blend. Spirulina contributes a small serving of naturally occurring protein to the diet. The body uses protein to build and renew tissues, among other functions. The tablets are also suitable for vegans. CaliVita® recommends two to four tablets a day. The pack contains sixty tablets.
