Pure Yucca contains powdered yucca stem. Yucca naturally contains saponins, a group of plant compounds. According to CaliVita®, these are why yucca can support the body's natural cleansing processes and the removal of metabolic by-products. These are unwanted materials produced during everyday processes, which the body normally removes on its own. The saponins are not a separate addition to the product; they occur naturally in yucca. Three capsules provide one and a half grams of powdered yucca stem. The manufacturer offers Pure Yucca to people who want to support those natural removal processes.
