Nopalin contains powdered prickly pear cactus leaf, known as nopal. CaliVita® recommends it to people changing their lifestyle, following a diet aimed at reducing body weight, staying physically active, or looking after digestive function. The manufacturer describes nopal as a source of fibre and links it with a feeling of fullness and managing snacking. Fibre absorbs water and swells, so the food in the digestive tract takes up more space. As a result, you may feel full for longer after a meal and be less inclined to snack between meals. This is how CaliVita® relates nopal to weight management. Three tablets contain a total of nine hundred milligrams of powdered leaf. This simple formula sets Nopalin apart from more complex MyPack products. CaliVita® recommends one tablet three times a day with meals. Take each serving with plenty of water, one or two glasses, because fibre needs fluid to swell.
