CaliVita® particularly recommends Liquid Chlorophyll to people who eat irregularly, often choose highly processed foods, experience everyday stress, or are beginning to change their habits. The manufacturer also mentions periods of physical and mental tiredness. The liquid contains sodium copper chlorophyllin derived from alfalfa: 15 mg in one teaspoon. This is a water-soluble derivative of chlorophyll, the green pigment in plants. Mix one teaspoon, or 5 ml, into a glass of water. Spearmint oil gives the drink a fresh taste, and the formula has no added sugar. Once opened, store the bottle in the refrigerator and use it within three months.
